ETHS Drama strives to provide a comfortable theater-going experience for those who are already lovers of
the arts as well as those experiencing theatre for the first time. We take the job of education very seriously
both backstage and in front of the curtain.
We hope that you will take a moment to review these theatre rules so that you can help us teach, by example,
proper theatre etiquette.
- We reserve the right to refuse admission to Charger Hall.
- We reserve the right to request any ticket holder leave Charger Hall and take appropriate action to
enforce this right.
- No smoking is permitted inside Charger Hall. Patrons who must smoke during intermission may step
outside the doors opposite the main doors. Please use the waste receptacle and do not litter.
- f you have a complaint or comment to make regarding your experience at Charger Hall, please
contact us.
- Tickets are sold subject to ETHS Drama's right to make any alterations in cast or advertised
arrangements rendered necessary by any unavoidable cause.
- Tickets cannot be refunded unless performace is abandoned when less than half the performance
has taken place. Where monies are refunded, such refunds are limited to the face value of the
tickets purchased.
- The price of all tickets displayed on the ETHS Drama's website are subject to change without notice.
- Tickets purchased online will be charged at the amount listed on the site at time of purchase.
Neither increase nor reimbursement will be allowed after ticket purchases have been processed.
- Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break in the performance. Please come early
so you'll be seated in time for the performance to begin.
- Seats designated on tickets are valid until 5 minutes before curtain. Vacant seats at 5 minutes
before curtain may be reassigned as upgrades or offered to standby list patrons.
- To be admitted, you must be in possession of a valid ticket.
- Every member of the audience must have a ticket.
- Mobile phones, pagers and watches should be switched off before entering the auditorium.
- Strobe lighting, smoke effects and gunshots are sometimes used in productions. If a member
of your party is affected by these items, please ask in advance if these special effects will
be used for a performance that you wish to attend. Announcements may also be posted at the
entrance into the house, placed in the program, and/or listed on the website.
- NO video or audio recording, or photography are allowed during the performances except by
ETHS-authorized persons. By purchasing tickets, you consent to you and your party being
included in, and to the use of, such recordings without payment.
- NO Food and drinks, other than water, are permitted inside Charger Hall. Cold beverages and
snacks are available for purchase during most intermissions.
- Please put your trash in the cans outside Charger Hall and not on the theater floor.
- Remember to use our recyling containers for your cans as the proceeds go to help fund our drama program.
- To be re-admitted you must be in possession of a valid ticket.
- The Overture is considered part of the performance. We ask that you refrain from talking at this time.
Please arrive early so you will be seated before the overture.
- Go easy with fragrances. Many people are highly allergic to perfume and cologne.

- Unwrap all cellophane covered cough drops before the curtain goes up.
- If you are nursing a cold, have your handkerchief handy. If you are really ill please release your
ticket in advance to the box office and stay home and take care of yourself. We want you all to be well
for the next show.
- We welcome children for all age-appropriate performances. If you bring a child, make sure that
theatre etiquette is a part of the experience. We hope that you will encourage, by your example, the
love of theatre and teach them how to be a respectful theatre-goer.
- Please refrain from shouting out students' names, clapping or whistling during a scene, as well as
encouraging or participating in other disruptive behavior.
